Activities activities.

Now some of you may be wondering what type of "off campus" activities I'll be doing with the kiddos.  Here is some of the things we'll be doing during our pre-k school year for fall so you can get an idea of what we do.  Good thing is we have already been doing most of this stuff (the library stuff mainly) so it won't be too far off from what their already doing, I'm just adding school into the mix now.  Remember, this stuff is mainly for the Phoenix area.

I am starting off slow, by doing just a 3 day, 8:30-1:30 school day for them.  It will start with breakfast and getting dressed from 8:30-9:00 and finishing with quiet time/nap time from 1:30 to 3:30.  Each day we will be leaving "campus" to get out of the house.  Being that is still the dead of summer here in Arizona, parks are really not an option from April to October :)

Monday -
Tumble!  If you live in the City of Phoenix, check out the classes they have for kids offered through the city. We did swim lessons for both the kids and are starting a tumbling class this year.  I'm thinking about doing an art class as well but we'll see how the tumble goes.  Most classes are anywhere from $20-$40 a kid for usually a 5 week/ 1 once a week course usually for an hour. A parent usually has to be present, which is hard for me sometimes because most classes are for either 18m - 2 year old or 3-5. My kids of course are in separate ages.  But there are some classes for 18m-4 years old which is what I usually do.

Tuesday -
Mommy has joined a MOPS group in Scottsdale.  This will get the fellowship/friendship I desperately need and it will give the kids 3 hours of playing with other kids and doing TONS of activities all focused on Jesus and God. Yes :)  This is every other Tuesday morning for 3 hours.  If it is an off MOPS day, this will consist of a free day, aka grocery store day.

Wednesday -
This is another alternating day, one the odd weeks we will be going to the library for story time and for Play on the Go which is a great time for the kids to interact with lots of kids and activities prompting motor skills.  On the opposite Wednesday's we'll be attending a church run Tot Town, which is basically a large indoor playground for the kids.  Something us Phoenix mom's need.  This is also the day the kids go spend some time with their grandpa Andrew for a few hours in the evening, so mommy and daddy can have a date night :)

Thursday -
This will be our library day where we go for a 45 minute story time and then choose new books for the week to read at story time.

Friday -
A full free day.  We have Friday's open for rest, Wal-Mart runs, lunch with Daddy and any play dates that may arise.  Should you want to play with us, this is going to be the day to do so :)

Weekends are for daddy!  Since fall is coming, there will be lots to do on the weekends once it starts cooling off :)
